Obituary

Peggy Parks passed away March 22, 2022 in her home in Sugar City, Idaho. Peggy was the daughter of Eldwin Herbert Parks and Tennie Rosaline Johnson. She was born May 8, 1939 in Piedmont, Jefferson, Montana. She grew up in Whitehall, MT. Later, she moved to Idaho where she raised her family and spent the remainder of her life. She was a hard worker and held several jobs. She retired from Basic American Potato.

She is survived by Tami R Harrison (Brian) of Logan, Utah, Kelly S Holland of Ririe, Idaho, and Melody Joy Evans of Idaho Falls. She has 14 grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. She has one surviving sister, Beverly E Smith of Dillon, MT.

She was preceded in death by her daughters Afton R Bare and Daynell L Lamb, two sisters, Afton E Masters and Arlene D Strozinsky and her brother Richard Parks.

Peggy loved her garden and yard which she worked on until the end. She loved to sew and make quilts and shared them with loved ones.  She worked on her family history often.

She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

There will be a graveside service on April 5, 2022 at the Pioneer Cemetery in Rigby, ID at 11:00 a.m.
