IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peggy
Young
October 11, 1932 – April 9, 2022
Our loving mother Peggy L Young was sent back to heaven on April 9, 2022.
She was born October 11, 1932, in Ashton Idaho to Wavern and Hattie Van Sickle, second to the youngest with 10 older siblings and 1 younger. She was proud of her large family and all the love and special bond that went with it, especially her 6 sisters.
After graduating from high school in 1950, she married Robert (Bob) Young on October 27, 1950, the marriage made in heaven. From this marriage 4 children were born. Robert Curtis (deceased), Rodney Lee (Kristal), Tracey Lynn (Gerald) Miller and Leslie Ann (Marty) Walker. She had 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grand children.
She never worked outside her home, but was always right by the side of our father to help run his businesses. She loved her children with all her heart and was always there to help in any situation. She was a lifelong resident of Saint Anthony, Idaho and had many dear friends.
Peggy was known for her witty and sassy personality, always good for a friendly bet, her infamous potato salad that had to be made in her cherished green bowl and the way she had napping down to a science.
Although we will miss her, we know it is now a glorious time for our mother, that she has long awaited her reunion with her sweetheart, our father, who she loved so much and has been without him for over 30 years.
A viewing will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Bert Flamm Mortuary in Saint Anthony with graveside services following at Wilford cemetery.
