Obituary

Perry Beckley, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Rexburg, Idaho, on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Born on May 4, 1956, in Rexburg, Idaho, Perry spent much of his life in southeastern Idaho, living in Rexburg, Pocatello, Boise, Kimberly, and Murtaugh, as well as Frenchtown, Montana. He was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Perry worked as a respiratory therapist and medical sales representative for Norco, where he earned recognition as a top seller and was admired for his dedication and service. He had a deep love for the outdoors—especially hunting and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed traveling, particularly his visits to Costa Rica to see his son Brent and his family. More than anything, Perry loved his family and lit up whenever he heard stories about his grandkids.

In his younger years, Perry was a standout athlete. He lettered in sports and was proud of his achievements in football and baseball, which he continued to play in college. He remained a passionate sports fan throughout his life and always enjoyed a good game.

Perry was previously married to Laurie Vukich and later to Debbie Beckley. Although he and Debbie divorced, their friendship remained strong, and Perry was a loving partner until her passing. He was a funny, fun, and easygoing man—someone who made people laugh and feel at ease wherever he went.

He is survived by his children: Brent Beckley (Jimena), Trent Beckley/Vukich (Megan), Tiffany Correa (Lance), Erin Gabrielsen (Bryce), and Scott Tom; his brothers: Mark Beckley (Nola), Jim Beckley (Terri), and Carl Beckley; and his nine beloved grandchildren: Jeronimo, Ashton, Cayden, Benjamin, Jameson, Maddix, Marley, Kyson, and Harper Jo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbur and Josephine Beckley; his niece, Kristi Beckley; and his former spouse and loving partner, Debbie Beckley.

Perry will be laid to rest at Sugar City Cemetery. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho.  The family will receive friends and family Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and the light-hearted spirit he brought to every room. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
