Obituary

Phyllis Morris, 93 of Rexburg, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in Rexburg. She was born April 9,1919 in Moody, Idaho to Joseph and Mildred Steele Jeppesen. She grew up in Rexburg during the winter and lived on the dry farm on the Rexburg Bench in the summers. She started school in Sugar City for three years and then on to Rexburg where she graduated from Madison High School.

She married Lynn Morris on January 12, 1937. On August 17, 1965 they were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS temple for time and all eternity. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary presidency and as assistant librarian and other church callings.

She and her husband enjoyed traveling to the many parts of the world that her husband won as a salesman.

She is survived by her children; Roger Morris of St. Anthony and Mike (Geraldine) Morris of Meridian, a sister Joyce Covington of Rexburg, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lynn, her parents, a sister and six brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 25, 2012 at the Hibbard LDS Church with Bishop Ron Klingler officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to www.flammfh.com.
