Saint Anthony native Ramona Hathaway Schwarze, 91, died, Tuesday August 23, 2011, in her home in Eagle, Idaho.

Ramona was born on November 19, 1919 in Chester, Idaho to Robert Henry Hathaway and Johannah Fredricka Johnson and was the eleventh of thirteen children. She had a nurturing spirit and spent most of her life helping others while serving as a nurse. Ramona ran circles around her fellow nurses until the day she retired at age 75 and continued to help others whenever the opportunity presented itself.

Ramona was preceded in death by, husbands: Loren Lumen Williams, Norris Nielson, Edward Thomas Schwarze, and James Victor Greenwood, along with her oldest son Lorin Henry (Prox) Williams. She is survived by her sister Erlamond Hathaway Daw, children Lester (Bud) Williams, Pat Williams Barton, JoAnn Williams Jungst, Fredrick Norris Nielson, Edward Thomas Schwarze, Mary Marie Schwarze, Robert James (Chip) Schwarze, and their spouses, along with 37 grandchildren, and many more great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the Wilford LDS Chapel at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
