Rodger Klayton Dearing passed away at his residence in Boise, Idaho Thursday evening, June 5th.
Rodger had the capacity to exhibit a great degree of caring in his life. During his career he worked as a nurse primarily with critically ill or advanced age patients. He was very familiar with providing care for the terminally ill and befriended many in their final hours. His transition to the next world was certainly met with many familiar faces.
Rodger had a great love of the outdoors and spent many hours enjoying family and friends there. He was particularly fond of the peace and quiet of fishing. He always had a smile on his face and was eager to try and help someone in need. His kind and gentle spirit will certainly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Frances Dearing and his mother, Marilyn Lind Dearing.
He is survived by his children, Meagan, Garrett, Benjamin, Dallin, Cassandra and their mother, Jane Martin and by his brothers Arthur, Daniel, David and Kevin.
Funeral services will be held at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho Saturday June 14th at 11:00 am. He will be interred at the Little Butte Cemetery in Menan.
