Roger Willis Garner, 73, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2023 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Roger was born October 3, 1949 to K. Willis and Nellis Hart Garner in Idaho Falls, ID. He grew up in Rexburg where he attended elementary, junior high, and high school. He graduated from Madison High School in 1967.
He worked various jobs including the family ranch in Dubois, ID and the family farm in Roberts, ID. He ultimately retired from Madison County Road and Bridge, where he worked for over 40 years.
In 1973, he married Jeanne Chiles, whom he had two children with. They were later divorced.
In 1981, he married Deanna Gardner and had two more children.
Roger is survived by his wife, Deanna of Rexburg, sons Travis of Rigby and Jason (Brittany) of Idaho Falls, daughters Heather (Jason) Crystal Garner of Rigby and Jessica (Josh) Orr of Idaho Falls, sister Jill Beck of Idaho Falls, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father in law Arlan Gardner, brother in law Benny Beck, sister in law Sherry Pearson, granddaughter Mikaela Garner, and great-grandson History Johnson.
