Rondo L. Winters passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, in the Critical Care Unit, at the University of Utah Hospital. Rondo was born to Samuel Hyrum Winters and Marlene Rae (Molly) Winters on April 12, 1958.

Rondo attended grade school and graduated from South Fremont High School in St. Anthony in 1976.

Rondo married Michele Allgood, May 6, 1977, making their home in St. Anthony. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Rondo worked for Housley Pump in St. Anthony and furthered his education becoming a licensed plumber.

Rondo and Michele raised 3 children- Rondo Winters, Kimberly May Winters and Sara Camille Winters.

Rondo and Michele moved to Rexburg in 2006 where they currently resided. Michele passed away in 2011 from her battle with cancer.

Rondo married Nikki Winters, March 6, 2015. They were later sealed April 8, 2016.

Rondo's greatest joy was his love for his family and his new blended family. Making memories with his children and grandsons.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, taking care of his yard, traveling and his special love was Hawaii and his ocean.

Rondo retired from Fall River Electric in 2020 as the Electrical Warehouse Manager, after serving 33 years.

Rondo is survived by his wife Nikki of Rexburg; son Rondo of Rexburg; daughters Kim of Ennis, MT; Sara of Idaho Falls, ID; Nikkita Berg of Rexburg. Grandsons Dominic Winters, Jeremya Mauch, Izaac Winters, Roman Mendoza. Sister Shawna (Scott) Mace of St. Anthony.

Rondo was preceded in death by his father Samuel Winters, mother Molly Winters, mother and father-in-laws Dwayne and Nellene Allgood, Nathan and Lorraine (Goldie) Hill, nephew Jason R. Davis.

Funeral Service will be at Rexburg North Stake Center, 314 E. 2nd North Rexburg, Id held on Monday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m. The family will be receiving friends Sunday, October 1, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home, (61 North 1st East Rexburg, ID) and at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Wilford Cemetery.
