RosaLee Johnson Hopkin was born March 13 1931 in Ovid Idaho to Herman and Wanda Wood Johnson.

She is the oldest of four children. Her brothers George Frederick (Janet) Johnson, Jay H. (Kathleen) Johnson and one sister Carol Rae (Gary) Wilson. After graduating from Fielding High School in Paris Idaho she attended Rick College in Rexburg Idaho where she met the love of her life Wilford Tolman Hopkin. They were soon married November 25, 1950. They had 6 children Susan Kite, Randall (Kathleen) Hopkin, Wendalie Hopkin, Jackie (Dave) Mitchell, Lori (Trent)Walker, Rick (Stacey) Hopkin and son in law Garry Kite.

She was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she had served in various callings in her younger years.

She had a love of the arts which included oil painting, ceramics, sketching, needlework, sewing and was always willing to participate or learn a new craft. She loved gardening especially loved working in her flower beds. She loved it when her neighbors or passerby's would stop to admire them. A passion that began when she worked in Rexburg Floral Shop with the Sutherlands while she was still in college. She also loved anything her husband loved to do. If he went fishing she would go sketch near by. As he coached she kept his stats. They also spent many years enjoying archery and golf with dear friends. Wif & Rosa Lee were two words that were hard to say separate. When they retired the were able to purchase a home in Queen Valley Arizona where they enjoyed the warm weather and the friendship of many who became life long friends.

Our mother supported her children in our various activities from sports to dance to scouts to everything in between. She loved to support her grandchildren in their various activities, but especially loved watching all the sports in which they were involved.
