In Loving Memory of Roy Lopez
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Lopez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us all too soon at the age of 61. Roy's departure has left a void in our lives, but his memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
Roy was a family man through and through. Together with his loving wife, Jan, they played a pivotal role in the lives of their many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Their home was a welcoming haven for all, a place where love and laughter flowed freely.
Roy was a man of diverse interests and passions. He had a deep love for cars, spending countless hours tinkering under the hood and sharing his wisdom with anyone eager to learn. Fishing was another cherished pastime of his, and he often found solace by the water's edge, sharing stories and secrets with his grandkids.
But perhaps one of Roy's most defining qualities was his adventurous spirit. He relished in taking his grandkids on exciting journeys, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. In his later years, he embraced a career as a truck driver, crisscrossing the United States. His work allowed him to explore the country, and he seized every opportunity to indulge in his love for gambling at casinos in the towns he visited.
Roy was known for his free-spirited nature and easy-going personality. He had a way of making everyone feel at ease in his presence, sharing warmth and wisdom with all who knew him. His zest for life was infectious, and he leaves behind a legacy of joy, adventure, and love.
Though Roy may no longer be with us in person, his memory lives on in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but we find solace in knowing that he is now on a new and exciting adventure of his own.
May he rest in eternal peace, forever in our hearts.
