Ruby Levina Adams Bolton, born on October 17th, 1935, passed away July 26th, 2024 at the age of 88. She is survived by her 4 children: Lisa, Floyd Jr., Lloyd, Kathleen, her many grandchildren, and her growing number of great-grandchildren.
Ruby, who at earlier times in her life, went by "Lee" and "Levina," was born in Snowflake Arizona. In her childhood, her family moved to Mesa, Arizona. She was the 6th of 8 children in her family. From a young age, she would proudly declare her desire to be married in a temple as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After moving to California, she married her sweetheart Floyd Bolton on April 16th, 1956 in the Los Angeles Temple.
Ruby's interests included missionary work, doll collecting, crocheting, writing and enjoying poetry. Ruby's crochet work included blankets, tablecloths, and doll outfits. Her vast doll collection was one of the passions of her life, as was her love of butterflies and seasonal decorations. Ruby took a special interest in supporting missionaries from her ward. After her husband passed away in 2003, she moved to Rexburg, Idaho in 2013 to be closer to her family.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings. She spoke often and joyfully about being reunited with her husband after death. She once remarked, "I spent 47 years with him and it wasn't long enough, but I have the rest of eternity with him to look forward to."
