Russell Curtis Studebaker
Russell was born on January 30th, 1953, in Salmon, Idaho to his parents Harold Vern and Janet K. (Robson) Studebaker. He was the oldest of three children. He was a happy child until the passing of his mother which deeply affected him for the rest of his life. He graduated from Salmon High School in 1971.
Russell had a great love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and hiking. He worked at the Salmon Saveway grocery until leaving to attend college in Rexburg, Idaho in 1975.
From 1975 to 1977, he worked part and full-time at Rexburg Food Center until deciding to serve an LDS mission from 1977 to 1979 in the Washington D.C. Mission area.
Upon returning from his missionary service, he again started working at the Rexburg Food Center from 1979 to 1996 and during this time he met and married Juanita Wiebe. They were married in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple on November 23rd, 1985, and had two daughters, Cortney and Brittney.
He gradually fell into ill health that stayed with him the rest of his life, until he passed away on June 17th, 2022.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cortney and Brittney, their mother Juanita, and younger brother James (Jim) D. Studebaker. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Vern, mother Janet K., and brother Randell Lee.
