Russell Lee Wilcox, 65, of Emmett, Idaho passed away on May 18, 2023. He was born on December 6, 1957 in St. Anthony, Idaho. Russell is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Bonnie Wilcox, and his son Jeff Wilcox.

Russell served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. He was proud of his military service and talked about it often. After his time in the Marine Corps, Russell worked in the lumber industry for over 40 years. He was a hard worker and took great pride in his job.

Russell worshipped at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He found comfort and peace in his faith.

In his free time, Russell loved spending time with his best friend and wife Bonnie. He also cherished the moments he spent fishing with his son Jeff.

Russell will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Firth Cemetery with military rites.  The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg.
