Sandra "Sandie" Irene Edwards Wood, 74 of Egin, passed away Friday, September, 8, 2017 at her home of natural causes.

She was born on August 15, 1943 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Lee Emanuel and Rose Amadell Franks Edwards.

She received her education in St. Anthony schools and graduated from South Fremont High School. She worked for B M Tibbitts and Sons all through her working years.

She married Wendel Jay Wood on August 20, 1973 at St. Anthony. They made their home in Twin Groves for many years and then in about 1991 they moved to Egin where she lived until her death.

She enjoyed crocheting and several other forms of crafts. She also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with her family.

She is survived by her husband of Egin; son, Kelly Jay Wood also of Egin; a sister, Phyllis Ann Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents; Sister, Janice Enno and brother Jerry Lee Edwards.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Egin LDS Chapel, 1633 East 400 North. The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the services from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
