Sandra Lee Bartlett

Sandra Lee Bartlett (Sandy) passed away peacefully at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center on September 25, 2026.

Sandy was born on October 1, 1942 to Edwin C. Farnsworth and Helen Maxine Lund in Bell, California. She spent her school years in Chino, California and graduated from Chino High School in 1960. Shortly after graduating, she married James Bradford Whaley. On November 29, 1961, they welcomed their daughter Deonna Lee Skidmore. Sandy and James divorced not long after. On October 22, 1965, she gave birth to her son Danny Howard Whaley. She raised both of her kids as a single mother in Hemet, California while working many different jobs to support her little family. In 1983, she married Bill Bartlett, but they later separated after 5 years of marriage; she never remarried. Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling, dancing, boating, water skiing, and fishing, mostly enjoyed at her Mom’s house on Lake Havasu.

In 1992, she moved to Idaho to be closer to her family. While living in St. Anthony, Idaho, she worked for the National Park Service, a job she really enjoyed. During her time living there, she took her grandsons on many different trips to Yellowstone National Park to explore the wilderness and attractions. Later on, she moved to Ammon, Idaho, where she spent the remainder of her life. In her last years, she lived at The Gables of Ammon where she made lots of new friends while doing many different arts and crafts, diamond painting being one of her favorites. She also befriended many of the staff while living there and thoroughly enjoyed their company.

Sandy was also a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ammon 26thWard. She loved the church and its members and looked forward to attending every Sunday.

Survived by: Her daughter Deonna (Chris) Skidmore, her son Danny Whaley, 8 grandchildren (Brad, Tiffany, Adam, Trevor, Garrett, Conner, Amanda, Todd), and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Her parents Edwin and Helen, her brother John, and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 1:00 pm held at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg a visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 till 12:45 pm.
