Sandra Kay Lewellen, born on December 8, 1940, passed away at the age of 83 on October 1, 2024, in Sugar City, Idaho. Sandra was a person who cherished simplicity and humility, deeply devoted to her family and her faith. She was known for her cooking and baking, particularly her beloved Grandma waffles, rolls, and pies.
Throughout her life, Sandra embraced the joy of travel, exploring various parts of the world alongside her late husband, Harvey Lee Lewellen. After his passing, she continued to share her passion for adventure with her daughters. She moved to Sugar City in 2020, where she enjoyed the serene views of the Grand Tetons and frequent visits to the park.
Sandra is survived by a loving family, including her daughters Cindy Anderson, Renee Wakefield, and Michele Lewellen; bonus children Mary Lewellen, Gary Lewellen, Sharon Thompson, and Cindi Molz; her siblings Ronald Goimarac, Deborah Lamb, Tad Goimarac, Michael Goimarac, Gary Sellers, and Sharon Sellers. Her legacy further lives on through her 30 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harvey, her parents, Thora and Emil Goimarac and her father Vernon Sellers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th, 2024, with a viewing at 10am (Arizona Time) followed by memorial services at 11:00am (Arizona Time) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 2939 W. Rose Garden, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
