Sarah Jean Dennis, beloved mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on April 23, 2025 after a 3 year long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63.

Sarah was born on December 12, 1961 in her home in Rigby Idaho to Gary and Barbara Jenkins of Teton City Idaho.

Sarah was the oldest of four girls. They grew up in Utah, California and Idaho. She graduated from Sugar Salem High School in 1980. She enjoyed playing volleyball and spending any extra time with family and friends. She loved holidays and would go all out for parties and decorations to be enjoyed with her family.

Sarah was a hard worker working since she was 14. She worked in the billing department at Madison Memorial Hospital for 20 plus years where she made lifelong friends. Sarah loved her job and was very good at it.

Family was everything to her. Sarah loved getting together laughing and enjoying the company of the ones she loved. Sarah has four children. Sarah could make friends anywhere she went, she had an infectious smile and laugh and not only could she throw a party, she was the life of it. She always put others first even up till the very end.

Her family would like to thank all her doctors and nurses at Madison Memorial Hospital and Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for taking such wonderful care of her.

Sarah is survived by her parents Gary and Barbara Jenkins. Her sisters Jana Gardner (Bruce) Alane Krieger (Michael) and Myra Jenkins. Her children Sarah McKinzie Rollins, Samantha Hillman (Trace), Taibree Jones (Tyson) and Draven Dennis. And 10 beautiful grandbabies Nikelle Hillman, Kreed Rollins, McKinna Rollins, Jaxton Hillman, Traysen Hillman, Oaklee Rollins, Everlee Jones, Skyla Jones, Rhett Jones and Knox Jones. She cherished her family deeply and her entire life revolved around her kids and her grandbabies.

The impact she left on others will not be forgotten.

The Celebration of Life for Sarah is this Friday May 2 at LDS church building 166 S 1st E St Rexburg, Idaho. Visitation 9:30 to 10:45. Memorial service at 11.
