He married Debra Kay Saurey, the love of his life, Sep. 24, 1971, in Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized Jan. 12, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed 38 years of marriage. Scott loved the outdoors and being with his family. Scott excelled at everything he did and was known for his quality work. He lived life to the fullest and was always young at heart.
Serving in the LDS church was a very important part of Scott's life. He loves the gospel and he loved serving in the Rexburg Temple each week with his wife.
