Obituary

Scott Pratt Tibbitts was born November 17, 1949 to Terrece Pratt Tibbitts and Byron M Jr. Tibbitts in St. Anthony Idaho. He passed away December 10, 2016 at EIRMC surrounded by his daughters, brother, and sister in law.

He attended South Fremont High School where he played football. He grew up on the family farm working and raising potatoes and cattle, which he continued until 2003. He then started his own trucking business until 2011. He enjoyed working on old semi-trucks, taking care of his dog, and being with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was very active in AA where he helped a lot of people through the hard times in their lives. He celebrated 16 years of sobriety on September 1st. He was always willing to help no matter what time of day. He often brightened others days with his jokes and his knack for storytelling, nobody could quite tell a story like he could. And he had to have a good sense of humor with seven daughters (hence the need for a drink.)

He is survived by his brother Brad (Cathy) Tibbitts, and daughters Lee (Jeff) Shepherd of Oregon, Valerie (Brett) Murdock of Idaho Falls, Brandie Tibbitts (Tom Murdock) of Idaho Falls, Amber (Monte) Davis of Oregon, Gabrielle (Luciano) Munoz of Utah, Ashley (Cody) Munns of Archer, and Kelley Tibbitts (Travis Heyrend) of Sugar City. And 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Scott's family will be meeting with friends and family from 6-8pm Wednesday December 14th at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N.) St. Anthony. There will not be a funeral service.
