Shannon Nikol Marlowe, 27, of Moscow and formerly of Rexburg, died January 18, 2010, in Moscow. She was born January 16, 1983, at Rexburg to Roy Hilding Marlowe and Irene Andrus McDonald Marlowe. Shannon was raised in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School.

She lived and traveled in mainland China, studied abroad in Thailand and worked and traveled in Chile and Argentina. She earned a B.A. degree in Clothing Textile Design from the University of Idaho and recently began further studies at the U of I in International Studies with an emphasis in Spanish. She enjoyed snowboarding and spending time with friends and family, especially nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her parents, Roy and Irene Marlowe of Rexburg and siblings; Ken (Shelly) Marlowe of Ammon, ID, Tina (Bruce) Taylor of St. George, UT, Eric (Lisa) Marlowe of Apex, NC, Cameron (Amy) Marlowe of Boise, ID, Tawnya Marlowe (Dan Mickelsen) of Gilbert, AZ, Chad Marlowe of Driggs, ID, Jared (Lindsay) Marlowe of Rexburg and Shane (Susan) Marlowe of Las Vegas, NV.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on January 23, 2010 at the Rexburg LDS East Stake Center (387 South 4th East) with Bishop Terry Gorton officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the stake center. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
