Sharon Archibald passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 at the Homestead in Rexburg, Idaho.

Sharon Laree Anderson was born on September 28, 1935 at the family home in Thornton, Idaho to Reno Lamont Anderson and Lillian Rose Lyman Anderson. She was the fourth of seven children to bless the Andersons. She attended school in the Madison School District where she graduated in 1952.

Sharon met the love of her life, Donald Archibald, after he returned from the Army. They were married in a small ceremony in the fall of 1953. They lived in Burton, Rexburg, Plano, Shelly and finally settled in Sugar City where they raised two children, Kaylynn Archibald and Shawna Lea Archibald Tuckett.

Aside from her love of being a homemaker, Sharon had a passion for gardening and flowers. Her yard was the talk of the town every year. She loved spending her time camping with Don and the kids and then later on with her grandkids. They all shared many special memories on those trips.

Sharon was sealed for time and all eternity to Don when she was 80 years old. She was an avid participant in her ministering sister's group and she loved each of their activities.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents Reno and Lillian, as well as three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her two children, seven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Sugar City Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing to be held before hand from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Interment will be at the Sutton Cemetery.
