Sharon Zoe Hill, 63, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away on June 7, 2017 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born in Driggs, Idaho to Merritt and Maurine Neibaur on June 3, 1954. She attended schools in Sugar City and then graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho. She married Dale Hill on November 2, 1973 in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. She attended Ricks College and then graduated from BYU in Provo, Utah. Sharon worked as a teacher in the Fremont School District from 1989-2007. She was heartbroken when she was forced to retire due to medical problems in 2007 because of her love for teaching and her students.
Sharon was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities throughout her life. Of all her accomplishments she was most proud her children Jessica Marley (John Marley), Oliver Hill, Erica Crow (Brad Crow), and Lyon Hill (Lauren Hill) and of course her grandchildren Faith Stibal, Sidney Hunt, Cameron Hunt, Savana Hunt, Hanna Marley, Porter Marley, Ashlyn Crow, and Koltyn Crow.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt Daryl Neibaur and Maurine Neibaur.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, at the Salem LDS Chapel with Bishop Kevin Lee officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
