Sheila Kay Young, age 48, died of complications of renal failure on September 7, 2020, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Sheila was born on April 16, 1972 in Rexburg, Idaho, to parents Sheila Smith and Kent A. Young. She graduated from South Fremont high school in 1991. Sheila was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sheila worked at Upper Valley Industries as a young adult.

Sheila enjoyed reading books, watching movies, playing games, and spending time with friends. Sheila loved her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, loving, giving person.

Sheila is survived by her two sisters, Vonda Smith and Verna Mills, nephews Jared Smith and Zachery Mills, and a niece, Jordan Mills Avila (Hunter).

Sheila is preceded in death by her mother, and maternal grandparents, Vern and Vonda Smith of Rexburg, Idaho.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Flamm Funeral Home, located at 61 N 1st E, Rexburg, ID 83440. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to services. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sheila's life. The family would like to thank Brandie Whiteside, Stephanie Lewis, and those who assisted with Sheila's final days from Encompass Home Health and Hospice, and Monte Vista Hills Health Care Center, for the compassionate care provided Sheila.
