Obituary

Our dearest daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend returned home to her Heavenly Parents on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in St. Anthony, Idaho surrounded by her family at the age of 61. She was born on September 3, 1960 to Edwin L. Larson and Myrna Dawn Orr Larson in Rexburg, Idaho. She had a wonderful childhood growing up in Bear Lake and Parker with her parents and 8 brothers and sisters. She attended grade school at Parker Elementary, South Fremont Junior High, and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1978. She attended Ricks College for a year and then married Jeff Davies of Lyman. They were later divorced. Shelley was an amazing cook, seamstress, and piano player. She loved all kinds of music, especially the Bee Gees!

Shelley became a mother on November 23,1982 with the birth of her daughter Kasi Dawn Davies. A year later she gave birth to her son Jacob Dean Davies on December 8, 1983. Due to complications from childbirth, Shelley spent the remaining years of her life in Assisted Living Facilities throughout the upper valley.

Shelley was loved by her family and community. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She touched many lives with her smile, sense of humor, and caring personality. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved her Savior Jesus Christ very much.

She is survived by her father, Edwin L. Larson of Parker; her two children, Kasi (Aaron) Enns of Peoria, Illinois and Jacob Edward (Annie) Davies of Blackfoot, Idaho. Also, her three precious grandchildren Chelsea, Dean, and Oakley.
She is also survived by her 8 siblings; Jeffrey (Trisha) Larson of Rigby; Randal (Becky) Larson of Teton; Patsy (David) Crapo of Egin; Bryan (Diane) Larson of Egin; DaLea (Barry) Snell of Jonesboro, Georgia; Suzette (Tim) Peterson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Debra (Mike) Beckstrom of Parker; Jared (Kristi) Larson of Rigby, and MANY nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrna Dawn Orr Larson, mother-in-law Faye Davies, nephew, Jeremy David Crapo, and sister-in-law Sandy Miller Larson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Parker Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Parker Ward Church, and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. As a family we wish to thank the many care givers who took care of our sweet Shelley throughout her journey on this earth. We could not have done it without you. She will be dearly missed.
