Sherry Pearson
Rexburg - Sherry Ann Gardner Pearson, 53 of Rexburg, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Madison Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 19, 1956, in Rexburg, Idaho to Arlan James Gardner and Joanne Henderson Gardner. She is the second of eight children.
Sherry received her early education at Teton Elementary and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1974. She attended Ricks College where she graduated with a one year degree. She worked as a secretary at Ricks College until 1989 when health problems forced her to quit.
Sherry met the love of her life, Dave Pearson and they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on October 25, 1986.
Sherry was a kind, loving person. Even when health problems prevented her from doing the things she loved she never complained. Sherry loved camping, walking, reading and sewing.
She is survived by her husband Dave Pearson of Rexburg; parents, Arlan and Joanne Gardner of Teton; 4 brothers, Lyle (Connie)_ Gardner of Teton; Dale (Connie) Gardner of Idaho Falls; Bruce (Jana) Gardner of Lake in the Hill, IL; and Kerry (Kim) Gardner of West Jordan, UT; 3 sisters, Deanna (Roger) Garner of Burton; Peggy (Reed) Richman and Kathy (Karl) Hanosky both of Rexburg; and many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Noal and Verna Henderson and Elmer and Mable Gardner.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, at the Rexburg 2nd Ward Chapel with Bishop Jarom Hepworth officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
