Shirleen Mina Tuttle, born Shirleen Mina Klingler, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on August 14, 1957, in Rexburg, Idaho, where she spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and the community she loved.

Shirleen was the beloved daughter of the late Clayne Klingler and Shirley Earleen Klingler. She attended Washington Grade School, Madison Junior High School, and graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg. She continued her education at Ricks College in Rexburg, where she attended for two years.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as two of her sons, Jason Edie and Andrew Edie.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Sean David Tuttle, whom she married on October 1, 2016. She is also survived by her sons, Blake Edie, Eric Edie, and Adam Edie; her grandson, Keegan Edie; her stepchildren, Emily Philips, Grace Tuttle, and Abbey Larson; and her siblings, Ruth Clark, Clayne Klingler Jr., Janet Klingler, and Roy Klingler. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and kindness.

Before marrying Sean, Shirleen shared five sons with her first husband, Randy Edie. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising and caring for her family. She also worked in the hospitality industry, where her warm personality and caring nature made everyone feel welcome.

Shirleen found happiness in the simple things that brought beauty to life. She loved playing the piano, singing, making jewelry, reading, and studying the scriptures. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great strength and peace in her faith throughout her life.

Those who knew Shirleen will remember her wonderful sense of humor, her deep compassion for others, and her remarkable ability to care for those around her. She had a special love for animals and a generous heart that made everyone feel accepted and loved. Her kindness, faith, and selfless service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at 12:00 p.m. in Sugar City, Idaho.

Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in the many cherished memories she leaves behind and in the promise of her faith that families can be together forever. Shirleen’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
