Obituary

Shirley Lorrain McIntier, 73 of Ashton, formerly of St. Anthony, died Saturday at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born on April 23, 1942 in Rigby, Idaho to Lowell Almon and Amy McCracken McIntier.

Shirley grew up in Lewisville, the oldest of four children. She lived in Lewisville with her family until her father passed away in 1973. She then moved with her mother to St. Anthony. When her mother passed away in 1985 she began living with her sister Betty Fryer. In 2003 when her sister died she moved in with her niece, Michelle Fryer where she lived until her own death.

She loved spending time with family around her. She loved taking walks and riding bikes with her great nieces.

She is survived by her sister, Deloris (Harry) Rawson; her brother, Milton (Sonja) McIntier; nieces Michelle Fryer, Amy (Gale) Calonge, Tracy (Carlos) Garcia; nephew Thomas (Heidi) Fryer; great nieces, Netausha Fryer and Nicole Calonge and many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony). The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.flammfh.com.
