Sofia P. Lozoya, was born on September 30, 1929 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and she died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings. She is survived by her only son, Victor Lozoya of Teton, ID, her three granddaughters; Victoria Hammond, Valerie Gravely, and Virginia Ferry, her three great grandchildren; Izaac Lozoya, Ezra Hammond and Layla Ferry, and three sisters; Martina Lopez, Edwards Martinez and Abundia Pool.

Sofia lived a life of forgiveness and love, her kindness and resilience is admired by many. Even in her final moments her endless selflessness shined, eternally worried for others. Sofia spent her final moments with her granddaughters by her side, as she passed into the next life.
