August 9, 2015 an angel received her wings. Stacie was born a Valentine baby, February 14, 1957 in St. Anthony Idaho to Robert and Wathene Liljenquist.
Stacie grew up in Idaho Falls, Teton City and Salt Lake City. She attended elementary school in Idaho Falls, junior high and high school in St. Anthony, graduating from high school in Brighton, Utah. During high school she attended Continental College of Beauty. She graduated high school and finished her beauty school.
She married Boyd Tucker on April 16, 1976 in Salt Lake City. In 1979 she had their first born, Adam. In 1981 she had their second born, Carissa.
Stacie's pride and joy were her two kids and later her two grandbabies, Addee and Olly Tucker. Even though her health prevented her from doing a lot of things she was always there to support her children.
When she felt good she helped Boyd on the farm. Whether it be running parts, cutting seed, driving grain/potato harvest truck, driving pickup to burn ditch or pick up pipe she was there. She was the "Treat Queen" of spud harvest. The entire crew knew when the Treat Queen pulled up, you went to her she didn't come to you. She was very maticulate about her house. Her house was always clean, never a speck of dirt any where. She had a serious OCD issue with cleanliness of her home, herself and her family.
Stacie enjoyed reading, bowling on Monday and Thursday mornings, watching her children in their activities and being with her grandbabies. She had the gift of gab, just like her dad. She would strike up a conversation with anyone.
Stacie had a very hard adult life. She was diagnosed in her early 20's with Lupus. She had recieved 2 kidney transplants and was on the waiting list for another at the time of her passing. She was the strongest woman we knew and she is going to be missed very much.
Stacie is survived by her husband, Boyd of Teton. Her two kids, Adam and Carissa Tucker both of Teton, 2 grandkids Addee and Olly Tucker and 2 adopted neighbor grandkids Kaleb and Ruthie Parry. One sister, Kym Liljenquist and one brother, Derk Liljenquist. She is proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents and mother in law.
There will be a visitation at Bert Flamm Mortuary in St. Anthony Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 9:30-11. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Teton/Newdale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the University of Utah Hospital or Orthopedic Center.
