Steve's personal philosophy was "its not about the destination, it's about the journey."
During his journey he had two children, his pride and joy, Patrick Samuel Murphy and Mary Cathleen Murphy. Steve's life was built around the love he had for his children, friends and family. In his latter days he enjoyed visits from them all, great conversations and a good game of cards.
Steve is survived by both of his children Patrick and Mary. Three brothers, Kevin (Mary Lou) Murphy, Stan Murphy and Jan Murphy. He was proceeded in death by his parents Sam and Mary Murphy and two brothers, Mike Murphy and Larry Murphy.
In honor of Steve, a celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Blackfoot Idaho, on Wednesday, November 9, 2001 from 5 until 8 pm. Please join us in remebering Steve for his friendship, love and care of others.
