Stuart Noal Henderson, 78, of Rexburg, died June 29, 2015. He was born November 9, 1936, in Rexburg, Idaho to Noal R. and Verna Smith Henderson. He attended school in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School in 1955.

He served honorably in the US Navy from 1956 to 1959.

He married Shirley Jensen on May 12, 1961. Two children were born to this union, a son, Mike and a daughter, Shaunna.

He was a lineman and worked for Utah Power and Light for 30 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed horses and camping. He belonged to the Upper Valley Wranglers Posse and the Upper Valley Cutter Association.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Rexburg; son Mike Henderson of Rexburg; son-in-law Kelly Richardson of Rexburg; siblings Sharon (Johnny) McCulloch of Shasta Lake, California, Joanne (Arlan) Gardener of Teton, Robert (Vicki) Henderson of Cedar Hills, Utah, Marian (Dick) Purcell and Joyce (Wylie) Browning all of Idaho Falls, J'lene (Layle) Cherry of Ashton; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, a brother, his daughter Shaunna and a great-granddaughter Lexie.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, at the Burton LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Friday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
