Sylvia Prindle Anderson 91 died February 9, 2018 in Rexburg, Idaho.

Sylvia was born in Billings, Montana on September 17, 1926 to Martin V. and Nellie Thompson Prindle, the oldest of six children. Siblings include Jean Stoddard of Chula Vista, CA; twins Marlene (deceased) and Darlene Graviet (Don) of Las Vegas, NV; Billie Lou Hunter (deceased); and Greg Prindle (Nanette) of Billings, MT.

Sylvia fell in love and married Vernard C. Anderson (Andy) on September 1, 1945 in Billings, Mt. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS temple. To this union was born five children. Vernard C. Anderson III (deceased); Clayton Alan Anderson of Pocatello, ID; Susan Marie Jensen (Garth) of Rexburg, ID; Bryan Leigh Anderson of Billings, MT; Jason Blaine Anderson (Robin)of Greeley, CO; and three daughter-in-law's Sue Anderson, Pat Mitchell and Judy Wendt. Sylvia has 19 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.

Her family was always her pride and joy. Each of her grandsons always felt that they were her personal favorite. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Sylvia loved the Lord and had a strong testimony of the Gospel. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Sylvia particularly loved serving in the Billings Montana and Rexburg Idaho temples.

A viewing will be held at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho on Thursday February 15 from 5:30-7 pm; and funeral services will be held on Saturday February 17th at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2929 Belvedere Dr. Billings, MT. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 to 9:45 am. Graveside services to follow at Terrace Gardens Cemetery.
