Sylvia Ann Bakula Farley was born on August 28, 1940 to George Adam and Bonnie Faye Angell Bakula in Twin Groves, ID. She was the first born followed by her brother, Joe Bakula. She lived and attended school in St. Anthony. She passed away July 23, 2022 at her daughter's home in Rigby.

In 1957 she married Ted Gould. Together they had two sons, Bud J.Gould and Danny R. Gould. They lived in St. Anthony and later dirovced.
She met Gary L. Farley, they were soon married on May 22, 1964. Together they had four children, Annette, Gary Wade, Tammy, and Jade. Gary and Sylvia were sealed for Time and Eternity on October 10, 2014 in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple.

Sylvia was always busy, never being able to sit still. She was crafty, canned food, cooked delicious meals and was kind to all. She always put her family and friends first and helped those in need. She loved her Heavenly Father.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary Farley, son Gary Wade Farley and her parents, daughter in law Tamara Farley and granddaughters Cami Rae Lott and Jennifer Gronewald.. She is survived by children, Bud J , Danny R., Annette, Tammy and Jade.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony 4th ward chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
