Kay Tamara King Davies, 53, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls,

Tamara was born April 7, 1960, in Porterville, California to LeRoy and LaRae Pickett King. She was the fourth of four children. She attended elementary school in California, Hawaii and Massachusetts. She was a graduate from Madison High School and Ricks College.

On August 30, 1978, she married Bryan M. Birch in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She married Val D Davies on July 17, 1999, in Ridgecrest, California.

She served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a natural born thespian - loving the spotlight on center stage, having participated in more than twenty theatrical productions. She loved music, singing, and poetry.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her her husband Val Davies, her children, Katie (Neal) Rogers and David Birch of Saratoga Springs, Utah, Sarah (Jonathan) Jorgenson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Rebeccah (John) Hazel of Ridgecrest, California, and Hannah (Adam) Skousan of Lehi, Utah; a brother Christopher King and a sister, Laurel Dalling. She was loved and blessed by her 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Mary Katherine King.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Plano Cemetery.
