Ted M. Hill, 77, of Coeur d'Alene, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2015 in Coeur d'Alene of natural causes. He was born September 27, 1938, in Rexburg, Idaho where he went to school and where he made good friends that he has had throughout life.
Ted was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves. He raised his children in Idaho Falls, Idaho with his former wife, Allason Smith where he was in sales and real estate. Ted has been living in Coeur d'Alene for many years near his son and his family where he enjoyed bass fishing and playing with his Boston Terrier, Tess.
Ted is survived by his children Beverly Hill van Joolen (Vincent), Jeffery Hill (Marla), and Jaci Hill, his brothers Doug Hill (LeAnn) and Rick Hill (Cynthia) and several nieces and nephews. Ted is also survived by his grandsons Adam (Kristy), Nicholas (Candace) and Skylar, his granddaughters Bronwyn, Alaire, Mekenzie and Kennedy, and his great grandchildren Kiara, Joshua, Andrew, Raegan and Brynley - all of whom he loved deeply. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Merrelle and Maxine Hill, and his brother Scott Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
