Terri Singleton
Terri Kamachi Singleton, 69, of St. Anthony passed away October 23, 2015 from complications of diabetes.
She was born January 22, 1946 to Mike and Chiz Kamachi in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She attended school in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High in 1964. Upon graduation she married Brent Singleton on August 12, 1964. After 24 years of marriage they divorced.
She worked various jobs in St. Anthony before settling into working for the family business at Chiz's Restaurant and the Fremont County Assessor's office in the DMV. In 2012 she retired from the family business but continued her work with the County. Terri enjoyed working with the patrons of Fremont County and often spoke of the many friendships she had formed through the years.
Terri was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the Primary. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Terri loved attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events and was extremely proud of each of them. She also enjoyed going for RZR rides with her sons. Terri was an accomplished cook and baker. Her greatest achievement was her family.
She is survived by her mother, Chiz Kamachi, St. Anthony, ID; brothers, Steve Kamachi, Burley, ID; and Scott (Glenda) Kamachi, St. Anthony, ID; children, Tal (Traci) Singleton and Slade Singleton both of St. Anthony, ID; and Chalyce (Brian) Dean, North Ogden, UT; grandchildren, McKinzie (Aaron) Jones, Tayler Singleton, Preslie Singleton, Tailie Singleton, Elder Cole Dean currently serving in the Richmond, VA Mission, Brevin Dean, Trey Dean, Bre' Elle Dean, Jadyn Dean and Brock Dean; great-grandson, Jetzon Singleton and another great grandson expected in December. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Kamachi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the Wilford LDS Chapel with Bishop John Sharp officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Saturday both times at the Wilford church. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.flammfh.com.
