Therba Paul

Therba Jeppson Paul, 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 in Idaho Falls, Idaho due to heart complications and pneumonia.

Therba was born on June 22, 1942 in Rexburg, Idaho to Bertha and Olin Jeppson.

She married Arthur Joseph Paul on June 8, 1965 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Archer, Idaho; and Rexburg, Idaho.

Therba was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in the church in a variety of positions.

Therba taught school for 41 years, mostly 7th grade English, but some high school biology also. Although she was not blessed with children of her own, she enjoyed other people’s children, both in school, at church as well as the neighbor children.

Therba is survived by her sister Roxcy Jeppson, brother-in-law Glayde Hone, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Paul, her parents Olin and Bertha Jeppson, sisters Idagene Hone, Marjorie Goodliffe, Julia Atwood, and a brother Nilo Jeppson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7th at the Henderson 1st Ward church (170 W. 1st S. Rexburg, ID 83440) with Bishop Bowman officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and on Saturday from 10:00 am till 10:45 am at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in Archer, Idaho at the Sutton Cemetery.
