Todd Alec Hamblin, 57, currently of Rexburg, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Homestead Assisted Living, due to complications from a brain tumor. He was born in Provo, Utah to Lawana Mackley Hamblin and Theo DeWayne Hamblin, on April 22, 1965. Todd was the eldest of 7 children and was a caring older brother.

He married his wife Shana Rice in the Laie, Hawaii LDS Temple over 32 years ago. Together they raised 4 children.

Todd was everyone's friend. He loved people and truly talked with them. He served in many callings in church which included being bishop in the Dayton Nevada Ward in the Carson City Stake.

He is survived by wife, Shana Hamblin, his children, Noble Theo Hamblin married to Megan (Wirth) with sons Theo, Archer; Shay Holmes Hamblin married to Morgan (Gillenwater) with daughter Alice; Dane Anson Hamblin; and his siblings, Paula Kern, Karyn Manumaleuna, John Hamblin, Linda Voelkel, David Hamblin.

He was preceded in death by Devree Hamblin (daughter) due to a different brain cancer, his parents, and a brother, Jeff.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30th at the Rexburg East Stake Center. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 at Flamm Funeral Home and again from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
