St. Anthony - Jeffrey Todd Rushton, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, died September 28, 2009 at Madison Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1960 to Stephen Mayne and Joyce Peterson Rushton, in San Manuel, Arizona.
He spent his childhood years in Austin, Nevada; Minden, Nevada; American Fork, Utah; Richfield, Utah and St. Anthony, Idaho. He graduated from South Fremont High School in 1979.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and being with family and friends. He was a dedicated assistant Webelo leader for many years and was awarded the "District Award of Merit" in February 2009. He loved the Scouting program and touched the lives of many young men.
He is a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Todd is an example of service and held many church positions.
He is survived by his parents Stephen Mayne and Joyce P. Rushton of St. Anthony, ID; brothers, Stephen Mayne (Kelley) Rushton Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; Stanley Lloyd Rushton of Alexandria, VA; and David Breck (Wendy) Rushton of Mendon, UT; 4 nieces and 4 nephews; and many extended family and beautiful friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Margrett Estella Mayne Rushton; and Lloyd Ivan and Mary Anderson Peterson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony L.D.S. Stake Center. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony) and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Church.
