Obituary

Tracy Joann Zufelt Rose, 31, of Rexburg, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Tracy was born May 8, 1985, in Sandy, Utah to Lee and Connie Zufelt.

Tracy spent most of her life in the Rexburg area. She attended school in Madison county and graduated from Madison High School in 2003. It was here that she met her high school sweetheart, Thane Rose. They were married on November 12, 2004 and later sealed in the Rexburg LDS Temple on September 6, 2014.

Tracy and Thane were blessed with five beautiful children: O'Ryan age 10, Kalynn age 8, Charley age 6, Deacon age 3, and Cora age 1. Tracy was able to be a stay at home mom, which became her greatest joy.

Thane served in the US Army and this allowed Tracy to do some traveling with him. They lived in Texas and Germany for a few years where she made some good friends. Kalynn and Charley were born in Germany and O'Ryan was born in Texas.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tracy served in several Primary callings and was currently serving on the Relief Society Board.

Whenever she could find a quiet moment, Tracy loved to read. She was often found making baby quilts for her friends. She had an incredible talent for art. She loved to draw, oil paint, craft, and was an amazing decorator. Her most recent talent and hobby was doing gelatin art; which she became extremely good at.

Tracy is going to be missed by many!

She is survived by her husband, Thane of Rexburg; children, O'Ryan, Kalynn, Charley, Deacon, and Cora, all of the family home; her parents, Lee and Connie Zufelt of Rexburg; siblings, Jared (Connie) Zufelt of Colorado, Brandi (Jeff Elliott) Zufelt of Idaho Falls, Stephanie (Pat) Shaffer of Cove, Utah, Kevin (Athena) Zufelt of Rexburg, Nick (Angie) Zufelt of Idaho Falls, Cory Zufelt of Rexburg; her grandmother, Wilma Zufelt of Rexburg.
