Valene Pearson Jones, 80 passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, in Rexburg, ID from natural causes. She was born August 16, 1937 in Weston, Idaho. She attended elementary & high school in Preston, Idaho.

She married Carl LaMar Jones in the Logan Utah Temple, June 24, 1954. She is survived by four children, Lynnette Niendorf, Valerie Gutierrez, Kimber (Shelley) Jones, Blair (Carol) Jones, 20 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 2 sisters & 1 brother, Bonnie Kendall, Ajay (Donna) Pearson & Vicki (Don) Velasquez.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held several positions throughout her lifetime. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading, gardening, & camping. She was employed at Fall River Rural Electric Coop in multiple positions from 1970 to 1999.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rexburg Center Stake Center, 590 Summerwood Drive. The family will receive friends Friday evening March 2 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
