Verla Christopherson Brown, a lifetime resident of Plano, Idaho, passed away December 12, 2018, at the age of 98.

Verla was born and raised in Burton, Idaho. In 1938, she married Vernon "Jack" Leroy Brown of Plano. She and her husband Jack farmed until they retired in 1970. Verla also worked for her daughter for 10 years in the Diet Center business.

Verla loved her home, family, a good card game, and community. Verla will be missed by all of those who knew her.

Verla is survived by her children, LeRoy Brown of Soda Springs, Idaho, Steve Brown of Plano, Idaho, and Teddy Lou Chamberlain of Palm Desert, California. She also leaves a legacy of five grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brown, and grandsons, Jeremy Brown, Royce Brown, and Thad Call.

We would like to thank all of the healthcare providers, home health, and hospice, that have been so giving to her over the last six years.
