Obituary
Mary Verla Parkinson passed away June 1, 2010 surrounded by family members at the age of 100 years.
Verla is survived by two children, Karen (Gary) Robins and Lowell J. (Mardi) Parkinson. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son John J. Parkinson, a daughter Deann Parkinson, a sister Fredonia Swenson, a daughter in heart and spirit Ruth Martin Hawkins, and two daughters-in-law Denice Jensen Parkinson and Sylvia Blake Parkinson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
