Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Vicky Louise Solomon Grover of Archer, Idaho passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was 63 years old.
She was born June 11, 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho to Melvin and Olene Solomon. She was the oldest of 6 children. Vicky grew up in Inkom, Idaho and graduated from March Valley High School.
She spent most of her life living in Inkom, Idaho, working various jobs from cooking at the El Rancho Café, driver for Snake River Sanitation, Construction driver for Hunziker Construction, laborer at Inkom Cement Plant, driving truck for Grover Distributing, and has been driving truck for H&K Construction for the past 13 years.
On March 25, 1995 she married Larry Grover and moved to Archer, Idaho, where she has made her home for the past 23 years. She lived a very fulfilled life, loving and caring for everyone. She loved to cook, read books, do puzzles, play cards, go camping, and ride horses, just to name a few things.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Grover, her daughters; Jennifer Parris Stewart of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, Brooke Fitch of Archer, Idaho, step children; Candace Dixon of South Jordan, Utah, and Brandon Grover of Beaverton, Oregon and grandchildren; Shyanne, Tylar, Brynlee, Braxtyn, Zach, Ryan, Matt and Sarah. Her father, Melvin Solomon and siblings, Mike (Julie) Solomon, Carry Lattimer, Cindy Richardson, Terry (Kendra) Solomon and Todd (Moneac) Solomon, all of Inkom, Idaho, as well as many nieces and nephews and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Olene Solomon, her grandparents, father-in-law, Wally Grover, Aunt Jill Carden and a nephew, Jason Lattimer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Archer LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. both times at the church. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
