Obituary

Violet Hope Pincock, 80 of Monteview, died September 2, 2009 at home. She was born August 27, 1929 in Idaho Falls, ID to Isaac Dewey and Hatti Lucille Park Hope. She was raised in Salem and attended Sugar City grade school and also Sugar Salem High School.
She married Vern Douglas Pincock on February 24, 1950 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived at Mud Lake, Id; Quincy, WA for several years; Sugar City, ID and in 1960 they moved back to Terreton, ID. They also lived at Ucon, ID and for 35 years in the Boise area.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved spending time with her family riding horses, camping and she did sewing for her family.
She is survived by her husband of Monteview, ID; children, Brett & Shari Pincock of Ashton, ID; Patricia & Craig Finch of Monteview, ID; Jannett Pincock of Spanish Fork, UT; Lennie D & Valerie Pincock of Moreland, Idaho; Kenneth & Sheila Pincock of Parma, ID, Larry & Vickie Pincock of Highland Utah, Tena & Clark Healey of Alpine, UT; Rick & Georgette Pincock of West Jordan, UT; and Lynnette Turner of American Fork, UT; a sister, Lillian & Jack Parke of Ephrata, WA; a brother Eldon & Deanna Hope of Nova Scotia, Canada; 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 1 sister and 2 sons.
Funeral services were held Saturday September 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monteview LDS Chapel with Bishop Wade Stoneburg officiating. Burial was in the West Jefferson Memorial Park under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
