Obituary

Wanda Ricks Kerr was born October 15, 1916 in Rexburg, Idaho to Daniel and Sarah Elizabeth Jones Ricks. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, attended Ricks College, and graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in business and home economics. She was the mother of four sons (three of whom died in infancy) and enjoyed her life as a homemaker and church worker. She was the granddaughter and great-granddaughter respectively of two of the original thirteen settlers of Rexburg. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Her husband Joseph (Joe/Jay) died in 2002.

She is survived by a son, Gary of Oregon City, four grandchildren and twenty-three (four) great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at the Oregon City LDS Stake Center in Oregon City on Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m.. Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rexburg Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
