Wanda Muir Perrenoud died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at her home in Hibbard, Idaho. Wanda was born April 28, 1935 to Melvin Bassett Muir and Mabel Ricks Muir in Salem, Idaho and she lived all her life in the Rexburg area, graduating from Madison High School in 1954.

She married Gale H. Perrenoud on June 28, 1958 at her parents home in Rexburg. They have a daughter Tamara Gale (Karl) Anderson of Rigby and she has a stepson Gregg (Ginger) Perrenoud of Moyie Springs, Idaho.

Wanda worked several different jobs over the years but, when her first grandchild was born she quit work and stayed home to be with her grandkids everyday she could. Her life revolved around her three grandsons, Adam, Brandon and Garrett. Wanda was the happiest when she was doing something with her boys and family.

Wanda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and one of her favorite callings was compassionate service leader in the Relief Society.

Wanda is survived by her husband Gale, of 51 years, their daughter Tamara (Karl) Anderson, three grandsons and a great grandson, a step-son Gregg (Ginger) Perrenoud and siblings; Emelia (Arlo) Ward of Salt Lake City, UT, Golden (Janice) Muir of Salt Lake City, Elmo (DeLone) Muir of Springville, UT, Norma (Kay) Perrenoud of Rexburg and Carma (Ken) LeCheminant of Orem, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Merlin.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Plano LDS Church (5973 North 5000 West) with Bishop Trent Siddoway of the Hibbard 4thWard officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday at the church from noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
