Willard Arial Smith, 103, died on July 24, 2021 in Henderson, Nevada. He was born February 2, 1918 to Arial Mellor Smith and Thelma Richards Smith in Rexburg, Idaho.

He leaves his wife Faith Irene Smith, and daughters Diana Busman and Deborah Anderson. His posterity includes six grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Willard was the oldest of eight siblings. Preceded in death were his brothers Gaylen Smith, Fred M Smith, Gordon Smith, and Merlin Smith and his sisters Vera Ricks and June Misseldine. Surviving is sister Alice Wilson.

Willard left Rexburg shortly after graduating high school and went to Bremerton, Washington to work in the navy ship yards.  He then settled in San Francisco, California until 2005 at which time he moved to  Henderson, NV.

Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
