Willis B. Edwards, 97, of Sugar City, left this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, to be with his eternal partner, Thelma J. Edwards. He was born August 23, 1920, to Warren and Zella May Edwards in Riverdale, Idaho, he was the oldest of three sons.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a temple mission in Atlanta Georgia and worked in the Idaho Falls Temple.
He worked at Roger Brothers which later became American Potato until he retired.
One of his legacy's is he had six generations of first born sons. He also had 26 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; Austin (Jene) Edwards of Teton, Idaho, Larry ( Marlene) Edwards fo Rexburg, Idaho, Linda (John) Hickman of Sugar City, Idaho, Ricky (Ila) Edwards of Sandy Valley, Nevada and Florence (Don) Munns of Rexburg, Idaho. He is also survived by a brother, Gene ( Phyliss) Edwards of Salina, Utah, and a sister-in-law, Zandra Edwards of Twin Falls, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Thelma J Edwards, a daughter, Debra K Patterson and a brother Frank Edwards.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Sugar City 4th Ward Chapel, 6 N Teton Ave. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home and again from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
