Wilma Fern Zufelt, 100, passed away on May 11, 2023, in Rexburg, Idaho. Wilma was a long-time resident of Durango, CO but had lived with her son here in the Rexburg area for the last 10+ years.

Wilma had 13 children (all still living, she was very proud of that), 49 grandchildren, 127 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Wilma loved to garden; she could can and preserve anything, she was especially proud of her flower gardens. The thing she loved doing the most was helping her family, friends and neighbors, giving them rides because they couldn't drive, shoveling snow, helping them clean their homes, etc. She was always very active, and these last years were hard on her, not being able to walk, and help.    She loved to ride horses and would have ridden horses until the end, were possible.  She enjoyed baseball and was a Colorado Rockies fan.  In her younger years she enjoyed dancing.

She loved to do embroidery, she did countless pillowcases, dishtowels, and quilt blocks.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will return home to Durango, CO to be buried by her eternal companion, John Wilford Zufelt.

Service will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Durango, CO. Interment will take place at Greenmount cemetery.
